Cobent unveils ongoing expansion
Cobent unveils ongoing expansion
30/08/2007
Cobent reveals strategic plans for expansion in compliance and training market
LONDON, UK – 30th August 2007– Compliance management solution specialists Cobent have announced that they are on course to more than double their growth in 2007, having achieved a 100 per cent business growth in 2006.
According to Howard Sears, Cobent’s CEO: “This year – 2007 – has seen us open two new offices in Manchester and Teddington so far, with two additional US offices coming on line in Q4. It will see us more than double the number of employees in the Group, and it should see us double our annual revenues with enhanced profit margins over last year.”
Founded in 2003, Cobent experienced a 100 per cent growth in revenue in 2006. In the first six months of 2007, it has already far exceeded its 2006 revenue levels.
Leading this growth in 2007 is the launch of an expanded product range, encompassing Project, Programme and Absence management for large-scale organisations.
Tony Dillon, Cobent’s CTO, explained: “We have made our name as a learning management system developer but we are now showing that we are much more than that.
“Cobent’s growth has come because we are at the forefront of software design and development. We have taken the same configurable, flexible and cost-effective methodologies that have made the LCS a success and applied them to other critical compliance pain points, providing similar benefits across many areas of the enterprise.”
“Cobent has acquired some high profile clients, including Dixons Group International (DSGi) – the organisation which owns such household name brands as Dixons, Currys and PC World –, Barclays Bank and Bureau Veritas.” Sears revealed. “Developments such as these have helped to enhance our reputation and so are helping our products to be chosen ahead of those from our larger, less flexible rivals.”
