Avecia picks Cobent for compliant learning management

LONDON, UK – 21 May 2007– Cobent has been selected by leading private biotechnology company Avecia Biologics to supply its fully compliant, high-functionality e-learning solution, Cobent® LCS 2.0.

Avecia develops and manufactures innovative biologics-based medicines,targeted at treating serious illnesses such as cancer and heart disease, for biotechnology companies worldwide, . The company has 600 employees employed at three sites.

Avecia will also be using Cobent® LCS 2.0 to create SOP training modules and associated competency measurement frameworks. The system will help the company manage on-the-job training and e-signature sign-off for training modules completed.
