London, UK - AAH Pharmaceuticals, one of the UK's leading distributors of pharmaceutical and healthcare products and services to pharmacies, hospitals and doctors, shares its success in implementing the Cobent LCS learning management system.
With the release of their new eAMS software in Scotland - LINKEvolution, AAH needed a sophisticated Learning Management System (LMS) to help rapidly and effectively train customers to ensure maximum adoption.
Cobent's Learning Compliance Suite (LCS) was chosen from other industry providers for its, track-record of successful installations in regulated organisations, professional look-and-feel, and ease of use.
Cobent LCS is being used to train customers on AAH's LINKEvolution eMAS and eAMS systems and to support training for their hospital pharmacy procurement system, Medecator. The system has been deployed to 280 pharmacies in Scotland and during 2009 it will be prepared for deployment to all of AAH's 2,400 pharmacy customers and 280 hospital pharmacies around the UK. The AAH Customer Technology e-learning provides users with a range of training modules, many that can be completed in less than 10 minutes, including software simulations and quick quizzes.
Since using Cobent LCS, AAH has:
Improved customer support
With Cobent LCS, AAH are now able to offer 24/7 training support. Customers are also able to use the portal for reference information or refresher training. Every time there is a software upgrade or new feature addition the system enables AAH to provide information and training modules to customers quickly.
The expanded customer support service helps to demonstrate AAH's dedication to customer service, further differentiating themselves from their competitors.
Formalised training processes
Historically, customer training was provided in a phased approached, depending on the availability of qualified personnel. With Cobent LCS, AAH are now able to rapidly roll-out product training to customers and can track, manage and report on all training in a formal and auditable manner.
Expanded training to internal staff
As a result of Cobent LCS's success for external training, the system is now used internally to formalise training to staff and service engineers.
" There aren't many organisations providing the e-learning solution that Cobent can deliver and, importantly, Cobent provided exactly what we need without adding features that we wouldn't really use, which makes it a very cost effective solution.
Cobent LCS is also extremely easy to use especially for enabling us to develop our own e-learning content and as a learning environment for our customers."
Leon Rudd

AAH Pharmaceuticals
"We are incredibly pleased with the Cobent LCS system. It has enabled us to provide a higher level of support to our customers and formalise both external and internal training processes.
The Cobent team has provided outstanding support throughout the entire process and we are confident of our success in future projects"

AAH is looking to use Cobent LCS to continue to develop and deploy training for new versions of their PMR (Patient Medication Record) System and Hospital Pharmacy Orders and Stock Management System.
AAH Pharmaceuticals has improved customer support and the efficiency of their training processes with Cobent LCS.
