Compliance Training

Regulatory compliance training Dixons Store Group International (DSGI), one of Europe's leading specialist electrical and computing retailers has implemented Cobent LCS to meet FSA training and competency regulatory requirements. The system has replaced their external telephone assessment process and saved over £500,000 in training and administration costs during phase one of the implementation.
SOP Training Centric Health Resources a specialty pharmacy provider has implemented Cobent LCS to develop, deploy, track, manage and report on all aspects of Standard-Operating-Procedure (SOP) training within the organization. As a result of implementing LCS, new hire training on SOP’s has become much more streamlined. Historically, it took new hires as much as 30 to 60 days to complete all job-related SOP training. With LCS the training time taken has significantly dropped to 7 days or less.
Audit & Inspections A US based major international pharmaceutical provider uses Cobent’s LCS to help automate compliance training processes. The Part 11 system is also used to provide the company with the means to control training processes to strict quality and compliance guidelines and maintain a fully auditable record trail. LCS helps the organization to manage thousands of questions centrally. Employees (Advisors) take assessments on a periodic basis, records of completion are stored within the system to provide regulatory bodies (The FSA) with evidence of organizational competence.
Compliance Reporting A UK based medical device manufacturer, supplying specialist equipment on a global scale, has implemented Cobent LCS to reduce the administrative burden of generating periodic reports. Cobent’s full reporting suite provides supervisors and managers with the means to instantly run accurate and complete real-time reports. Reports are automatically generated every month so managers can quickly review training statuses. Supervisors and Trainers also have access dashboard functionality to graphically display reporting data.

Product & Services Training Innovation Group is a technology-led Business Process Outsourcing (“BPO”) provider for the insurance sector. The company has streamlined its employee training programs through the use of Cobent’s LCS. The system has enabled the Innovation Group to effectively train 600 staff with only one training administrator. LCS has benefited the company significantly providing them with the means to successfully deliver and manage large volumes of training to a proportionally larger number of trainees – quickly and cost-effectively.
Health & Safety Training A US based Software company has used Cobent LCS to roll out its ‘Office Health & Safety’ training project. The organization needed to ensure all employees understood the basic principles and maintain a record of completed training. A set of 5 modules was created within the system, which included ‘safe computer use’ and ‘fire safety’. The training course is also used to train new recruits.
IT Training AAH Pharmaceuticals a leading UK distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products and services to pharmacies, hospitals and doctors, is using Cobent LCS to train internal staff on it's LINKEvolution eMAS and eAMS software systems. Software simulations are captured and online training courses are created, deployed and managed through the system. This has been a cost-effective means of training, AAH are also reusing these training courses to train customers.

External Training

Call Center Training Ventura is the UK’s largest customer management outsourcing company. 11,000 call-center staff work on outsourced customer management projects. This requires rapid understanding of a customer’s product and proposition. Ventura use the LCS to deploy training to all employees specific to a client’s outsourcing project. Most of the courses have been developed through the Cobent content authoring tool whilst others are made available by clients
Customer Service & Support AAH Pharmaceuticals a leading UK distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products and services to pharmacies, hospitals and doctors, is using Cobent LCS to train their customers on AAH’s LINKEvolution eMAS and eAMS systems and to support training for their hospital pharmacy procurement system, Medecator. With Cobent LCS, AAH are now able to offer 24/7 training support. Customers are also able to use the portal for reference information or refresher training.
Membership Training The Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointments (OCPA) regulates, monitors and reports on ministerial appointments to the boards of specific public bodies. Cobent LCS has been used to manage and track the process of formally assess and accrediting 250 existing Independent Assessors (IAs) (members). The solution has allowed OCPA to retain the best independent assessors and have a better understanding of their training and development needs.
E-Commerce The Chartered Institute of Public Financial Accountants are using LCS to help accredit more than 4,000 part qualified accountants. The public facing learning environment contains a range of e-learning courses developed with Cobent’s strategic partner (Pearson Education Services) designed to help achieve full qualification status whilst also being suitable for other financial professionals. Students can self enroll through the e-commerce enabled site or company’s can enroll a group of students at the same time.
