What an exciting year it has been, we've seen our company grow from strength-to-strength, with more partnerships, new clients,expansion of our team and a new office in London. Cobent launches CoAuthor for web-based collaborative content authoring.

We are pleased to announced the launch of CoAuthor,our web-based collaborative content authoring tool. The system will further extend Cobent's comprehensive content development service; supplying trainers and authors with a powerful tool to rapidly create professional-looking, highly interactive and engaging content - without the need for programming or design skills.

CoAuthor will enhance Cobent's service offering by providing a sophisticated environment for its subject-matter experts and instructional and graphic designers, enabling them to work closely with clients to rapidly create effective, high-quality course content. Centric Health Resources shares success story - Improving SOP Training Efficiency

US based, Centric Health Resources has released a 'customer success story' with Cobent sharing the success that they have had with the Cobent LCS system.

Centric Health Resources is a specialty pharmacy provider to individuals with rare, orphan and chronic disorders. Their new and innovative approach focuses on improving the lives of these individuals, integrating the delivery of specialised pharmacy services with comprehensive patient centred health management services and patient advocacy support.

Cobent LCS is used to develop, deploy, track, manage and report on all aspects of Standard-Operating-Procedure (SOP) training within the organisation. The built-in content authoring tool allows Centric's Instructional Technologist to develop courses unique to the organisation's services; and other key functionality allowsthem to track and manage training to a granular level.

Since moving from the paper-based system to Cobent LCS Centric has:

Reduced new-hire training time - New hire training on SOP's has become much more streamlined. Historically it took some new hires as much as 30 to 60 days to complete all job-related SOP training. With LCS the training time taken has significantly dropped to 7 days or less.....

Leading global insurance provider implements Cobent LCS to improve employee training.

The Innovation Group plc ("Innovation Group"), the leading technology-led Business Process Outsourcing ("BPO") provider for the insurance sector, implements Cobent's LCS learning management system to enhance training programmes to its 600 UK staff.


Innovation Group is streamlining its employee training programmes through the use of Cobent's LCS learning management system. Innovation Group boasts a high-profile client list which includes companies such as Allstate, LeasePlan, The Ford Motor Company, Aviva, AXA Insurance, RSA, Toyota (South Africa) and Zurich (UK).

In mid 2008, Innovation Group looked to enhance its internal training programmes by incorporating a robust online learning management system. This would enable them to train their UK based staff in a centralised, controlled and formalised manner. After conducting thorough research and analysis against a comprehensive ‘wish-list', Cobent's LCS system was selected from other market providers for its cost-effectiveness, powerful reporting and built-in content authoring tool. The key influencing factor was the fact that Cobent LCS did ‘everything-out-of-the-box'; this meant savings in both implementation time and costs.

Having a reliable and robust learning management system is critical to the success of Innovation Group's training programmes, due to the number of staff that require training, the volume of courses to be delivered, and the number of administration staff available to manage the process. With Cobent LCS, Innovation Group are able to create, deploy, track, manage, monitor and report effectively on all training programmes. Innovation Group's online learning solution will go-live in December 2008, with courses such as Health & Safety and Data-protection being deployed through the system.
