Howard Sears – CEO


Howard Sears
Howard Sears founded Cobent in 2003 after identifying a great need within regulated organizations for cost-effective, flexible and wholly compliant solutions to aid in designing corporate training and compliance programs. He has an in-depth knowledge on the design and implementation of organization-wide knowledge and content management, bringing a wealth of understanding regarding the range of regulatory compliance issues that organizations face.

Howard currently holds responsibility for all commercial functions across the Cobent Group. With a commercial management and business development background, prior to founding Cobent, Howard was sales director for Oxwood, the leading iTV software development company. During his career, he has also held senior business development positions within the Daily Mail General Trust Group.


Tony Dillon – COO


Tony DillonTony Dillon brings more than 15 years experience to Cobent, developing and managing e-learning and content management technology. He currently heads Cobent operations and technology strategy and has extensive experience meeting the knowledge management needs of FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 organizations.

Through numerous product and project deployments for many leading organizations, Tony has attained a broad understanding of compliance requirements in all business areas, including detailed knowledge of FDA, DOD and European financial compliance requirements.

Tony has provided development, strategic project management and professional consultancy for many SME and global Fortune 500 companies, such as GlaxoSmithKline, McKinsey and Company, J Walter Thomson, AstraZeneca and Citroen.


Greg Davies – Production Director


Greg DaviesGreg Davies has over 10 years' experience of project and operations management, seven of which have been spent specializing in e-learning and software development. He has gained a detailed understanding of our sector, having worked within Defense, Government, Finance and Education verticals.

Successful implementations have included relationships with global leaders, such as, Sony Europe, NHS University, Standard Life, DEFRA, the Royal Navy and Zurich Financial.

Greg is responsible for all production management functions of Cobent, working alongside the Head of Development and Support and implementation Manager to ensure that Cobent products and client projects are delivered on time, in-line with best practice and to exact client requirements.


Jordan Ambrose – Sales Director


Jordan AmbroseJordan Ambrose brings more than 10 years of Sales Management experience to Cobent, eight of which have been spent in the e-learning marketplace. Jordan joins us from the ILX Group plc, where he managed e-learning solutions for organizations such as; Nestle, British American Tobacco, Xerox and Pirelli.

Jordan advocates a highly consultative approach to the sales process and is able to bring to bear a broad understanding across industry sectors; he oversees both direct and channel sales strategies.


Albert Lilly – VP, Marketing


As VP of Marketing Albert Lilly is responsible for Cobent’s global marketing, demand generation and communication efforts. He brings over 10 years experience as a senior marketing leader.

Albert previously served as VP of Marketing at 360training.com, where he helped shape the company’s growth into becoming one of the fastest growing privately held training companies in North America. Albert has also served in various sales, marketing and PR roles with PR Newswire, ROSS Communications and IBM/Tivoli. Albert holds a BA in Speech Communications from the University of Texas at Austin.
 


Wai-Bin Lai – VP, Sales APAC

Wai-Bin Lai
Wai-Bin Lai brings over 10 years of experience to Cobent in developing sales channels, and partner and alliance relationships within the IT sector across Europe and the Asia-Pacific. As VP, of Sales for APAC, Wai-Bin is responsible for developing and managing business opportunities within the area.

Experienced in selling business transformation and change management enterprise software solutions to global Fortune 500 companies, Wai-Bin has an in-depth understanding of sales strategies across all industry sectors. Prior to joining Cobent, Wai-Bin was the Regional Sales Manager of APAC at Assima PLC and successfully help the Company establish an international network and was key to driving revenue growth.
 


Damian Clayton-Bull – Product Development Manager


Damian Clayton-BullAs Product Development Manager, Damian heads up Cobent’s R&D division which is dedicated to developing and enhancing the Cobent product suite to meet future requirements.  Damian brings over 12 years of technical and business experience to Cobent, having developed business critical enterprise solutions for the largest public sector managed service contract in Europe, and multimedia rich learning content and visitor centre installations for the BBC.

Damian has worked across the full solution life cycle; from Business Development, Project Management as a PRINCE2 Practitioner, through to solution support within an ISO20000 accredited organization..
